  1. LOVE this iron!!

Posted by Natalie (Magistrale) Taylor on 10th Dec 2018

Had one monogrammed and gave it to my parents as a Christmas gift last year and it was a huge hit!!!
Your staff was wonderful to work with and the iron makes a beautiful pizzelle in record time!!!

  2. Best Pizelle Iron

Posted by Annette Sherman on 9th Dec 2018

For years I used the Maid of Scandinavia Iron. A few years ago, I bought a Palmer . It’s by far the best! The secret is to preheat for 15 min! Our Pizelle making has been a family tradition since the early 1900s . I am 3rd generation so it continues to be a family affair with all the kids . We have 4 irons cooking at once, making over 300 Pizelles . I hope to replace the rest of our irons with Palmers too !

  3. Makes Great Pizzelles!!!!

I purchase this iron to replace my old one. This is the best iron ever. I will never go back to my old iron again. Makes wonderful Pizzelles.

  4. Best iron ever

Posted by Diane on 5th Dec 2017

I have been using this iron for 12 years. It belonged to my mother , she used it for at least 30 years prior to me. It has never given me any trouble and made great Pizzelle cookies.

  6. The only iron you will ever need !

Posted by Steve on 14th Jan 2017

I have used various pizzelle irons since the early 1960s. I used to swear by Vitantonio (no longer available) but the Palmer has retired my 5 other V irons (including one from my Grandmother) which is over 60 yrs old.

There is a little more texture than the V iron, but the little clip is a godsend when you are making hundreds at a run around the holidays. I prefer the added texture on the cookie.

I cannot recommend this iron highly enough. Solidly built, and with parts available if anything should break. Try finding that ANYWHERE else !

I have easily put over 80 batches of dough thru this iron in the past 4 years. NO issues whatsoever. I only wish I would have found the iron sooner, but you can bet all of my kids and God willing grandkids will have their own to pass down.

  7. Sticky, no heat indicator

Posted by Unknown on 21st Dec 2015

This is not my grandmother's pizzelle iron. I tried repeatedly to get the pizzelles not to stick using shortening, like the directions say. There is no light indicating when the iron is ready (certainly an old technology that could have been included). I can't get the cookies not to stick to the iron. And once they stick, good luck getting the batter out of all those nooks and crannies.

  8. The Best

Posted by Unknown on 17th Dec 2015

We always used a Villaware iron but when it broke we purchased a model 1000 at Salino's in Reading Pa. It works perfectly, even better even heating of cookies than my old one. Thanks for a great product!!!!

  9. Solid craftmanship and great customer service

Posted by Chris on 15th Jan 2015

I purchased the Pizzelle Maker (Model 1000) and had it customized. This is such a unique option. I had never tried Palmer before, but had tried other irons made in Italy. I was very pleased that this is such a solid, strong piece of equipment. It heats evenly and is easy to use. Customer service from Ms. Smouse was exceptional. I am very pleased that this product is made in the USA, too. I would definitely recommend this iron. I just might have to purchase another one!
