French Gaufrette
The Perfect Ice Cream Sandwich
- 1 cup whipping cream
- 1 cup flour
- 1 egg
- 1/2 cup butter
- 3/4 cup powdered sugar
- 1/2 tsp salt
Beat whipping cream just until it starts to thicken, blend in remaining ingredients.
Bake as directed for pizzelles and once cooled, place a generous slice of your favorite ice cream in between two cookies.
